The Disney Dining Plan is a great addition to any Walt Disney World vacation package, but some guests just don’t feel it is right for them. Well, that may soon end up changing as a new option is reportedly joining the line-up and will be released this week.
As of this time, there are three options of the dining plans for guests, but there is about to be a fourth. Starting on February 27, 2020, guests will be able to add/book the “Disney Dining Plan Plus” for trips in which they have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel vacation package.
With this new Disney Dining Plan Plus, each guest on a reservation would receive two meal credits per night of their trip. Those meal credits could be redeemed for a Quick-Service or Table-Service meals or one of each.
Along with the two meal credits per night of your reservation, each guest would also receive:
- WDW Resort refillable mug
- Two (2) snack credits per night
- Unlimited refills of fountain sodas, single-service teas and brewed coffee, or one specialty non-alcoholic beverage, or one beer, wine, or cocktail (for guests 21 years of age or older) with each meal credit
As with the other dining plans, credits are all given to you at check-in and can be used until 11:59 P.M. Eastern on the day of check-out. Just as with the other dining plans (Quick-Service, Regular, and Deluxe), the DDP Plus will not be available for those staying off property.
Pricing is not yet known for the Disney Dining Plan, but it is expected to fall between the cost of the Base/Regular Disney Dining Plan and Deluxe. It should be made available to book on February 27, 2020, for trips beginning February 28, 2020.
Please note that Disney has not officially said anything regarding this new Disney Dining Plan Plus. Until they do, anything (date, details, etc…) is subject to change and it may not end up coming out at all, but I’d be ready…just in case.
Make sure to get in touch with My Mickey Vacation Travel so they can give you even more details and take all the stress out of planning to create the magic for you.
