With Onward opening in theaters next week, many have wondered what kind of animated short would arrive with the Disney*Pixar film. Now, that information has been revealed and believe it or not, it’s The Simpsons.
Yes, The Simpsons now fall under the Disney umbrella ever since the company acquired the different FOX brands. Almost every single episode of the hit show is already on Disney Plus, but there is much more to come.
The short is called “Playdate with Destiny” and it will star Maggie Simpson in the lead. There isn’t much yet known about the animated short, but it looks as if the youngest of the Simpsons is enjoying a wonderful date along the European coastline.
