Sometimes, the spirits aren’t even feeling that well and need a bit of a break. The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom has been experiencing some problems the last few days, and as of now, it is undergoing an unexpected closure for an unknown amount of time.
On Monday evening, Haunted Mansion closed a bit before Magic Kingdom closed and remained as such for the night. Tuesday morning, the attraction didn’t open at all and Cast Members are expecting it to remain out of operation for the rest of the day.
While not confirmed, attraction Cast Members and some management Cast Members believe it could be out of commission for a few days. There is no guarantee or confirmed word as to how long it will be down or when it will reopen, but technical issues will keep it closed until they are resolved.
Over the weekend, we went to Magic Kingdom and happened by Haunted Mansion right after technical difficulties caused the ride to be evacuated.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
