As we all know, the Universal Orlando Resort is closed through May due to the coronavirus pandemic, but ideas are being tossed around. A survey was sent out to Annual Passholders asking their comfort levels with some precautionary measures which are being considered for when the parks reopen.
Bob Iger was recently asked about measures for how the Disney Parks may handle things upon reopening, and he didn’t rule out taking the temperature of each guest. Obviously, nothing is set in stone yet as there is no real official opening date for Disney and Universal has pushed back their reopening date twice.
Here are some of the things asked about in the survey:
- Facemasks required for all Team Members and/or guests
- Team Members wiping down rides/attractions between each go-round
- Limiting park capacity to 25, 50, or 75 percent
- Removing 3D glasses from all attractions
- Suspending parade and nighttime show gatherings
- Require all guests to undergo a rapid COVID-19 test before entering
- Close indoor attractions and shows
Below, you can see all of the questions from the survey to know exactly what Universal is looking into.
