Make way for the zaniest bunch of characters to ever land on Disney+. Beginning on July 31, 2020, a brand new show called Muppets Now is heading your way.
As part of National Streaming Day, Disney has made the announcement that Friday, July 31, 2020, will be a crazy one. Muppets Now will begin streaming on that day in the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, and India.
Muppets Now is the first original series for Disney+ from The Muppets Studios. It will be a six-episode season, but there is always the possibility of more coming in the future.
Here is what we know as of now:
Scooter rushes to make his delivery deadlines and upload the brand-new Muppet series for streaming. They are due now, and he’ll need to navigate whatever obstacles, distractions, and complications the rest of the Muppet gang throws at him.
Overflowing with spontaneous lunacy, surprising guest stars and more frogs, pigs, bears (and whatevers) than legally allowed, the Muppets cut loose in “Muppets Now” with the kind of startling silliness and heartfelt fun that first made them famous.
