Disneyland Resort Delays Reopening Of Theme Parks And Hotels

It was recently announced that Disneyland Resort would reopen its theme parks and hotels on July 17, 2020. Well, things have now changed and we no longer have a reopening date in place.

The State of California has now indicated that it will not issue theme park reopening guidelines until sometime after July 4, 2020. Disneyland does not feel as if that gives them adequate enough time to bring back thousands of Cast Members and start up business on July 17.

A new propose reopening date has not yet been revealed.

Downtown Disney will still reopen on July 9, 2020, as previously announced. Here is the full announcement:
