On the heels of Universal Orlando Resort stating Epic Universe’s construction was still “on hold,” more news has emerged. Beginning in early August, several attractions will temporarily close.
On Friday, Universal Orlando Resort revealed that several attractions between both parks will temporarily close on August 9, 2020. Team Members will be moved around to other attractions and locations on property.
The attractions are:
- Fast & Furious – Supercharged
- Storm Force Acceleration
- Kang and Kodo’s’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl
- A Day In The Park With Barney
- Fear Factor Live
- Poseidon’s Fury
Per a statement from Universal Orlando:
“As we continue to evaluate our offerings during this phase of our reopening, we’ve decided to focus on our marquee guest experiences.”
There has been no word on when these attractions will begin operating again.
