Beginning today, August 18, 2020, Universal Orlando Resort has moved to a date-based theme park ticket model. Tickets for Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure will now vary in price based on the time of year and dates that they will be used.
The date-based theme park ticket pricing model for Universal Orlando is similar to the one that Disney uses. Busier times of year will now bring about higher pricing and the slower times will obviously be lesser in price.
Tickets for the parks of Universal Orlando Resort are non-refundable, but they can be altered. If guests choose to change the dates after purchase, tickets can be modified to a date of equal or lesser price for no change fee.
If a guest wants to move their tickets to a date with a higher price, they will simply have to pay the difference.
