Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has had its reopening date rescheduled for a second time as the doors will not swing wide for all guests until summer of next year.
Originally scheduled to reopen in August, the Polynesian Village Resort had its opening delayed to October. Now, Disney has officially announced that the resort will not reopen to all guests until summer of 2021.
The DVC portion of the resort has been open for some time as have limited amenities and dining locations.
Disney will work on moving guest laterally to accommodations at the same level.
Here are the dates known for the reopening of other closed resorts:
- Oct. 14 – Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- Nov. 1 – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Previously, Disney had reopening dates set for both Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. These resorts have been entirely removed from the calendar, and they will remain closed until further notice.
Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the non-DVC portion of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge also do not have reopening dates yet in place.
