Cast Of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Reportedly Laid Off

News is coming across in quick succession this evening, and none of it is good. Now, we have learned that the entire cast and crew of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has been laid off.

First, it was news of the Citizens of Hollywood and cast of Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. Then, it was the entire cast and crew of Festival of The Lion King and Finding Nemo – The Musical.

Now, it’s Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue…after more than 40 years of performances at the Walt Disney World Resort. We don’t know if the show will be permanently closed, but if it returns, there will need to be a totally new cast and crew hired or rehired.

A number of Cast Members have taken to social media to say they’ve received their official emails. Many of them have said that the entire cast and crew of the two shows have been laid off, but no official word has come from the company as of yet.

Many others have stated that their final day with the company will be December 31, 2020.
