After 14 years of unique and messy performances inside CityWalk at the Universal Orlando Resort, the Blue Man Group has ended its run.
On Monday, the Blue Man Group made the official announcement that they will not return. The show has been closed the since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and park closures in March of 2020.
In June of last year, parent company Cirque du Soleil laid off nearly 3,500 employees and filed for bankruptcy protection. A number of employees let go were those for Blue Man Group in the Universal Orlando location.
Blue Man Group did state that performances and shows would continue in Las Vegas, Boston, New York, and Chicago.
It is not yet known what or who may replace Blue Man Group in the Universal Orlando location.
