COVID-19 Health And Safety Guidelines Revealed For Reopening Of Blizzard Beach

On Sunday, March 7, 2021, Walt Disney World will reopen Blizzard Beach. It will be the first time that one of their water parks has been open since the closures in March of 2020. That being said, the COVID-19 health and safety guidelines have now been revealed.

Brooke Geiger McDonald revealed some of the health and safety guidelines that will be in place at Blizzard Beach. Face coverings/masks do not need to be worn in the water, they will be required virtually everywhere else.

Masks will be required at the park entrance and exit, merchandise locations, food and beverage locations, restrooms, lockers, and changing areas.

Guests will not be able to move beach chairs as they have been placed to keep six-foot distance between other parties.

Mobile ordering is encouraged for all dining locations.

For all guests in the Cross Country Creek (lazy river), tubes must be used at all time. Guests must also keep their distance from others in the river.
