A lot of movement has taken place behind-the-scenes at Walt Disney World in the last year, and it has all led to this. Now, all four of the theme parks of Walt Disney World have women as their leaders.
Katrika Rodriguez was just recently announced as the Vice President of EPCOT. She is taking over for Melissa Valiquette who is moving into the position of Vice President of Magic Kingdom.
Sarah Riles is moving to the position of Vice President of Disney’s Animal Kingdom with the upcoming retirement of Djuan Rivers.
Jackie Swisher is the Vice President of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. She replaced Phil Holmes in that position in July of 2020.
This new of females being the leaders of all four Walt Disney World theme parks could not have more appropriate timing. It has happened right in the middle of Women’s History Month.
