On Tuesday, June 15, 2021, Universal Orlando Resort will open at brand new Asian-Fusion quick-service location called Bend The Bao. The new location will open in Universal’s CityWalk, and we now have the full menu along with pricing.
Bend the Bao will feature a variety of delicious items that fuse popular Asian cuisine with diverse ingredients like crab cakes, pork belly, kimchee fried chicken, and more – creating an entirely new mash-up that “bends” the idea of a traditional bao.
Bend The Bao will be the latest original concept dining experience created exclusively by Universal Orlando, combining unique theming with an extraordinary twist on the traditional quick-service restaurant. Incredibly colorful pop art representing the creatures of the Chinese Zodiac will welcome guests to the venue, where they can grab tasty bao buns like the Crab Cake Bao with Maryland-style crab cake, shredded lettuce and mustard aioli, the Duck Bao with braised duck, kimchee slaw, XO sauce, cilantro and five-spice aioli, and more.
Bend The Bao will be located on the second level of Universal CityWalk, adjacent to the Universal Cinemark theatre. The press release from Universal stated that Bend the Bao would be open 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. daily, but a sign on the building states 11:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
Unless something changes between today and the grand opening tomorrow (June 15, 2021), pricing has Two Bao for $11.99 and each additional at a cost of $4.49.
