The highly popular Mobile Ordering option at the Universal Orlando Resort is now virtually nonexistent. Despite proving to be quite beneficial during the year of reopening after the pandemic, it appears as if the option has been discontinued.
As of Monday, June 21, 2021, the majority of locations at the Universal Orlando Resort no longer offer Mobile Ordering. If you look at the UOR app, it shows that only these locations have it as an option:
- Cinnabon – CityWalk
- Bread Box Handcrafted Sandwiches – CityWalk
- Red Oven Pizza Bakery – CityWalk
- Voodoo Doughnut – CityWalk
- Leaky Cauldron – Universal Studios Florida
- Richter’s Burger Co. – Universal Studios Florida
- Volcano Bay Premium Seating Dining
If you go directly to other locations on the app, you’ll see the option to mobile order food and drinks still there. Once you click it, though, you get nothing but a blank screen without a menu or pure white.
If you’re in the quick-service locations, you will notice that the table number markers have been removed. As of this time, almost every quick-service location is back to cash register ordering operations.
