Walt Disney Company Relocating 2,000 Cast Members And Imagineers To New Campus In Lake Nona, Florida

The Walt Disney Company has confirmed that there will be a brand new regional campus coming to Lake Nona, Florida. It is going to be the new employment location for around 2,000 Cast Members and Imagineers.

These employees will be relocating from California to the campus which is just around 25-30 miles from Walt Disney World. This is the official news of the move which was first announced back in January of this year, and it will happen over the course of the next year-and-a-half.

This campus will house Cast Members and Walt Disney Imagineers in the division of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. These particular employees are not specific to Disneyland and allow their positions to be moved elsewhere.

An email was sent out on Thursday from Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

“This new project will create a dynamic environment to support our expanding business — a brand-new regional campus which will be built in the vibrant Lake Nona community of Orlando. This new regional campus gives us the opportunity to consolidate our teams and be more collaborative and impactful both from a creative and operational standpoint.”
