On Thursday, Universal made the official announcement that Team Members will begin wearing masks indoors again on July 31, 2021. This is for locations onstage and it is regardless of vaccination status.

For all guests, UOR is strongly encouraging the wearing of masks while indoors for those vaccinated and unvaccinated.

These changes are in place after recommendations by the CDC and Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings.

There has been no change for unvaccinated guests as they have long been required to wear masks while indoors at Universal Orlando Resort. Unvaccinated Team Members must wear masks indoors and outdoors at all locations.

Walt Disney World has stated that masks are once again required indoors for guests and Cast Members beginning on Friday, July 30, 2021.
