The next big theme park in Central Florida appears to still be about three years away. Universal Orlando Resort announced on Thursday morning that Epic Universe will most “certainly” open by summer of 2025.
During the Comcast earnings call on Thursday morning, NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell spoke of the addition to the Universal Orlando Resort. He knows that the COVID-19 pandemic did delay the building of Epic Universe, much like many other things.
Shell states that “construction is going really well now,” and that the project is “full steam ahead.”
