There have been a number of cancellations, changes, and delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but all is not as we thought. It appears as if the one-time Mary Poppins attraction set for EPCOT is not entirely cancelled.
On Wednesday, Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek stated that the attraction has not been put entirely on the back shelf. When asked about different attractions that the company has been “quiet” on, Chapek specifically commented on the attraction set for EPCOT.
He stated that both the Mary Poppins attraction and the Quinjet attraction set for Disney California Adventure were put “on hold.” Chapek stated that he hopes there will be additional funding for those projects in the future.
