Due to the impending impact of Hurricane Ian in Central Florida, the Universal Orlando Resort will temporarily close later this week.
Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal’s Volcano Bay, and Universal Orlando CityWalk will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday – September 28 and 29, 2022.
Due to the closures of the parks, the Halloween Horror Nights events on Wednesday and Thursday are cancelled as well.
Universal Orlando Resort has stated that it expects to be open again on Friday, September 30, 2022, but “conditions permitting.”
As of this writing, all resort hotels at the Universal Orlando Resort are operating normally.
