A new way to enjoy your Disney favorites is coming, and it’s going to be unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Disney CEO Bob Iger joined Apple CEO Tim Cook on Monday to reveal that Disney+ would be a part of the Apple Vision Pro upon its launch.
Cook said that the augmented reality platform would be a “profound technology” with “revolutionary” potential. This is the first major new device to be launched by the company since the Apple Watch nine years ago.
Apple Vision Pro will be quite expensive as it will retail for $3499.
During the demonstration on Monday, Disney and Apple showed clips of what will be possible with the partnership on Apple Vision Pro. The clips included being a part of your favorite Disney movies and TV shows, but also being able to step into a virtual Walt Disney World.
Apple Vision Pro will be released sometime in early 2024.
