‘Frozen’ Topiaries To Debut At 2015 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

Epcot Flower and garden 2015 FrozenYes, the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is already straight ahead and it’s just four months away from beginning. 2015 will mark the 22nd year of the huge event, and there will be lots of new things to enjoy and that includes the debut of the “Frozen” topiaries.

Yes, Anna and Elsa will appear in topiary form for the first time ever as “Frozen” will take over the center display area at the entrance of World Showcase. Numerous varieties of flowers will help the display bring the world of “Frozen” to Epcot with Anna and Elsa at the center of it all.

In the front of the park, Goofy will be joined by new topiaries of Chip and Dale to welcome people into Epcot. They will be just three of close to 100 character topiaries on display throughout the park.

2015 will mark the debut of a Southwest desert garden with 10 new mini-gardens – including a Health Garden – located near The Land pavilion. Over in the United Kingdom, a Shakespeare Garden will have roses representing “Romeo and Juliet,” rosemary from “Hamlet,” and lavender from “The Winter’s Tale.”

“This is one of our most ambitious festivals ever,” Eric Darden, festival horticulture manager, said in a news release. “We’re telling stories we’ve never told before. You’ll get a fresh taste of spring — it’ll be like the first spring farmer’s market for America.”

Outdoor Kitchens also return to the Flower and Garden Festival for the third year in a row.

Here are just some of the other great things that Guests can experience at the 2015 Flower and Garden Festival:

  • Tinker Bell’s Butterfly House returns
  • At night, topiaries and play-gardens will light up the night and glow
  • A weekend concert series will include such performers as the Village People, Gin Blossoms, Pablo Cruise, and many more.
  • Several weekends will be special for Guest and bring forth unique experiences such as the Art in the Garden Weekend (March 27-29); Florida Fresh Weekend (April 24-26); and Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. Weekend (May 8-10).
