The Mickey Ear Hat Ornaments have begun a giant craze over the course of the past year or so since they debuted, and more keep coming out all the time. Well, Doctor Disney stumbled across a new set to add to his collection, and it is quite phenomenal. There have been a couple other big sets like this one such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and the Main Street Electrical Parade, but now presenting…the Haunted Mansion Mickey Ear Hat Ornament Set.
Yes, feast your eyes on the five ornament set which is priced at $150 and has been spotted so far in the Christmas Shop at Downtown Disney and in Memento Mori at the Magic Kingdom. It is possible that it’s elsewhere, but since it’s release a little over a week ago, these are the only places I’ve seen it.
The Haunted Mansion set consists of five Mickey Ear Hat Ornaments and it is a limited edition with a size of only 2,000. Mine happens to be set number 690, and there’s something interesting about mine.
I didn’t open others to find out if they are all made this way, but two of the Hitchhiking Ghosts have their names reversed on the back of their ear ornaments. Yes, “Ezra” is on the back of the Phineas ornament, and “Phineas” on the back of the Ezra ornament. Planning on checking out another set when heading out to a park later, but if anyone knows…please let me know.

Each set is signed by Costa Alavezos, the artist that designed them and many other Haunted Mansion pieces.
There are so many Mickey Ear Hat Ornaments along with the new Haunted Mansion set including Steam Punk, Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney Princess and Villains, Walt Disney World attractions, Disney characters, and more.
So far, the Haunted Mansion set hasn’t landed on Disney Store Online, but it may soon so keep an eye out.
