As we all know, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is undergoing some major changes right now, and one of those is the construction of the Disney Vacation Club portion of the resort. Now, Disney has released concept art giving a first look at both the villas and bungalows that Guests will soon be able to experience.
As you can see, the bungalow villas are going to be quite beautiful and sit directly on the Seven Seas Lagoon outside the main buildings of the Polynesia Village Resort.
The 20 bungalows will sleep up to eight Guests in a home-like setting reminiscent of the South Pacific.
Per Disney:
Similar to Disney Cruise Line ships and The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the rooms will each have a bathroom separated into two areas, one with a shower and sink and the other with a sink and tub/shower. Plus, they also will have kitchenettes and enhanced storage for convenience and comfort.
In the following picture, you can see the 360 Deluxe Studios coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
These Deluxe Studios will be a part of the main Polynesian Village Resort and sleep up to five Guests each. They will also have the ability to connect to another Deluxe Studio.
A lot of work is being done on the Great Ceremonial House at the Polynesian Village Resort as well, and here is some concept art to see just a little bit of what is in store for Guests.
For those that don’t know, here is some of what will be coming as the openings begin in stages with the first starting in 2015.
- Trader Sam’s Tiki lounge
- Pineapple Lanai – Already open
- Enhanced feature pool
- New food and beverage offerings
- An entirely overhauled lobby
