Hurricane Florence has strengthened to a Category 4 and is still on a clear path for the Southeastern coast of the United States. As many cities and states are already taking precautions, Disney is doing the same as Disney’s Hilton Head Resort is going to be temporarily closed beginning Sept. 11, 2018.
Disney has now made an official announcement that Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort will close on Tuesday, Sept. 11, and it is expected to remain closed through Monday, Sept. 17, 2018.
It is always possible that the closing could be shorter or longer, but that remains to be seen with what Hurricane Florence may do. For those who are guests or have an upcoming trip to Hilton Head during those dates, you can contact Member Services at (800) 800-9800 for the latest updates.
For those in the path of the storm, please take all necessary precautions and measures to ensure your safety.
