The smoking ban and enforcement of stroller sizes are two big policy changes coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland soon, but there is yet another. Very soon, guests will not be allowed to bring dry ice or loose ice into the theme parks.
Beginning on March 28, 2019, if guests plan to bring a cooler or cooler bag to store snacks and drinks for theme park or water park visits, it’s important to know that loose or dry ice is no longer permitted.
Many guests do bring in cooler bags for some food items and other such things, but dry ice and loose ice will no longer be permitted inside of them for entry into the parks. This is at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
Guests can use re-useable ice packs instead, and this is an alternate option suggested by Disney. Complimentary cups of ice are available at Food & Beverage locations inside the parks if needed as well.
