Disney Cruise Line will no longer be offering onboard credits for guests who book a placeholder cruise while on their current sailings. This new policy is going to be fleet-wide and will go into effect this weekend.
As of September 28, 2019, the Disney Fantasy will be the first ship to stop offering onboard credit as one of the perks for booking a placeholder for a future sailing. Guests booking a stateroom in categories 4A through 11C will still receive the 10 percent discount, but no longer the onboard credit.
Here are the dates that the revised placeholder sailing perks will go into effect:
- Disney Fantasy – September 28, 2019
- Disney Magic – September 30, 2019
- Disney Wonder – September 30, 2019
- Disney Dream – September 30, 2019
Anyone who has booked a placeholder sailing prior to these dates will still receive their discount and onboard credit.
