Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been immersive, expansive, and made guests feel as if they are on Batuu and not on planet Earth. Well, some of that has now changed as Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo has simplified the names of food items for easier understanding.
While the exact reason of the change isn’t known, the Star Wars-themed names on the menu at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have indeed been replaced. Now, the names of food items are much simpler and more to the point.
The breakfast menu doesn’t appear to have been touched, but Docking Bay 7’s lunch and dinner menus have changed. Here are a few examples with the old name on the left and the new name on the right:
- Roasted Endorian Tip-Yip Salad – Roasted Chicken Salad
- Braised Shaak Roast – Beef Pot Roast
- Smoked Kaadu Ribs – Smoked Pork Ribs
- Yobshrimp Noodle Salad – Shrimp & Noodle Salad
- Fried Endorian Tip-Yip – Fried Chicken
All items had descriptions underneath them to let guests know exactly what they were ordering, but it appears as if that wasn’t enough.
Some items – such as the dessert menu – have stayed unique with Star Wars‘ names.

Are people so stupid they can’t read the description below the name of the item? Do we now have to hold their hand and walk them through everything? If we continue to do this, imagination will die.
