Make way for a huge celebration to ring in the new year at Walt Disney World…New Year’s Eve fireworks are back.
After a hiatus due to many circumstances, fireworks are returning to Walt Disney World for New Year’s Eve. Two parks will have celebrations to ring in 2022, and here is the schedule you need to know.
Magic Kingdom
“Fantasy In The Sky” is going to close out the evening on both December 30 and December 31, 2021. This nighttime spectacular will be performed each night at 11:50 P.M.
On both of those nights, “Disney Enchantment” will also be shown at 6:30 P.M.
EPCOT
At 11:54 P.M. on December 31, 2021, the “New Year’s Countdown Fireworks” will begin at EPCOT. Earlier in the night, Harmonious will take place at 6:30 P.M.
Unlike “Fantasy In The Sky,” the New Year’s Eve fireworks at EPCOT will only take place on one evening.
As of this writing, Disney has not made a formal announcement for either nighttime show, but they are now on the schedule. The official parks calendar on Walt Disney World’s website does show both happening.
