FAQ – Doctor Disney’s Guided Tours of WDW

Goofy ConfusedDo we get to go to the front of the line on every attraction?

No, you don’t automatically get to go to the front of the line. Doctor Disney will make use of the FASTPass system and his knowledge of which rides are best to ride and when. Typically, guests with Doctor Disney will wait somewhere between 0-15 minutes at the very most.

Any longer, and it’s just not the right time to be at that attraction.

Where will we meet up with Doctor Disney?

Doctor Disney can meet up with you each day at the park of your choice or at your Disney Resort. If meeting at your resort, you can all take Disney transportation to the park of your choice for the day.

Your time begins when you meet up with Doctor Disney at your chosen location.

Can we use hopper passes when with Doctor Disney on the tour?

Of course!

How will we get around Walt Disney World?

It’s totally up to you. Coming from Orlando International Airport, there is Disney’s Magical Express for those at Disney Resorts. Once on property, there are Disney Monorails, boats, and buses to travel by, and Doctor Disney can inform you of the best routes and quickest methods to get around.

Do we have to tour the parks by the itineraries provided?

Not at all. The itineraries are simply guides and information to better help you, the guests, get acquainted with the parks before jumping in with both feet. Doctor Disney will take into account all your wants, requests, and needs when planning your park days and making the most of your time.

Is it a problem if we don’t go for park openings?

It’s totally up to you as it is your vacation…but let it be known that the least crowded part of any day at any Disney Park is the morning. The second least crowded part of the day is the late evening. Not only is the afternoon the most crowded, but it’s also the hottest part of the day…any part of the year.

Should you decide to not hit the parks for their openings, then you are missing out on prime time to enjoy them with the shortest lines and out of the immense heat. Ultimately, it is your call, but if you’re looking for attractions at their best times, arriving for park opening is recommended.

Does Doctor Disney work with travel agencies?

Yes! Doctor Disney works closely with Middle of the Magic Travel who has great agents waiting to help you book and plan your trip, room reservations, dining, Magical Express, and more.

When you go to book with them, make sure to first tell them that Doctor Disney sent you so that he can work with them to coordinate your trip. From there, they will give you a free Disney vacation quote and help you with all your trip needs.

Will Doctor Disney be with us all day?

That all depends on you! If you book a tour with Doctor Disney, he can be there for the four-hour minimum or any time after that as you need/want him there.

Does Doctor Disney go on/in attractions with us?

Only if you want him to do so. He doesn’t have to and can organize your next moves while you’re enjoying the Disney attractions. But, if you’d like Doctor Disney to go on/in the attractions with you to show you more, then he can do that.

But, Disney rules will be followed in regard to flash photography, talking, and other standards.

What happens if the weather gets too bad – rain…the extreme heat?

Tours will go on rain or shine. This is Florida, and it is known that there is some serious heat around the year, but the tour must go on. If it gets too hot, there can be resting in the shade or whatever your group may need to do, but the time will still be running.

As for rain? It rains almost every single day in Orlando, and that’s what yellow Mickey ponchos are for. Actually, the rain makes for some of the best times to get on the attractions.

In the event of a natural disaster type storm or event (hurricane, tornado, etc…), then tours can be rescheduled or cancelled as need be.

Will we be touring with other groups?

No, there will only be one tour group with Doctor Disney at a time. He wants to make sure that your family gets the attention you deserve for your trip and doesn’t want conflicting opinions and preferences to work against one another.

There will be no combo tours and more of that info can be found on the Tours and Pricing page.

Does Doctor Disney dine with us?

Only if you want him to do so. If he dines with you, then it would be at your expense. Also, if you would ask him to dine with you for a table-service meal, he would have already had to be included on the reservation.

During your time for meals – dining with Doctor Disney or not – it will not count against your time and you will not be charged for that time. If Doctor Disney does not dine with you, he will meet up with you as soon as you’re finished.

The time we booked is almost up…what if we want more with Doctor Disney?

You can certainly check with Doctor Disney and see if the availability is there for more hours in the day or more days in the week, then it can be arranged as needed. Normal rates will apply.

Will Doctor Disney be our babysitter?

No, he won’t. BUT…he will help out when needed. If you’d like to go on a ride that the kids don’t want to, then Doctor Disney will watch them or take them on something else. The reverse can happen if the kids want to ride something that the parents don’t want to.

But any longer periods of time, and there must always be someone with your group that is at least 18 years of age.
