For those that don’t usually participate in the Disney Dining Plan, there is Tables In Wonderland, but there are a large number of changes coming for 2014 that everyone needs to be aware of.
This year, there will be an increase ion participating restaurants, blackout dates, and the credit card policy.
As of now, there are over 100 restaurants at Walt Disney World that participate in Tables In Wonderland and give guests a 20% discount. Here are the changes that will be coming for 2014:
~ Beginning Aug. 1, 2014, Victoria & Albert’s will no longer be a part of Tables In Wonderland.
~ Credit cards used for payment must match the name on the Tables In Wonderland card and the state identification. This has been in place for a long time, but it is going to be enforced from here on out.
~ Beginning on Aug. 1, 2014, a number of restaurants will have more blackout dates in place. They already have Mother’s Day, Easter Sunday, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
By the end of the summer, additional blackout dates will be:
- Nov. 23-29, 2014
- Dec. 21-27, 2014
- Mar. 8 – Apr. 4, 2015
- May 31 – June 20, 2015
The restaurants that will see these blackout dates are:
- Chef Mickey’s
- 1900 Park Fare
- ‘Ohana (Dinner only)
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
- Le Cellier Steakhouse
- Cinderella’s Royal Table
