If you’re heading to Walt Disney World this fall and happen to be staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, there is going to be a lengthy refurbishment that could affect your trip.
As many may already know, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is undergoing major refurbishments as it continues to redo many rooms and expand the location overall. Now, the feature pool is going to be closing for a few months as the work continues.
Beginning on Sept. 4, 2018, these locations at Coronado Springs will be closing:
- Lost City of Cibola Pool
- Lost City of Cibola Kiddie Pool
- Jaguar Slide
- Dig Site Spa
- Iguana Arcade
- Siestas Cantina Pool Bar***
All of those locations will be closed through Dec. 12, 2018, and they are tentatively scheduled to reopen to guests on Dec. 13, 2018.
***The Siestas Cantina Pool Bar will remain closed a bit longer and it is not scheduled to reopen to guests until Jan. 6, 2019.
All quiet pools around Coronado Springs will remain open during this refurbishment and will be accessible to all guests.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
