Disney CEO Bob Iger Takes Action – Having ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Sent To Military Deployed Overseas

Avengers: Endgame is currently tearing up the box office in both the United States and in theaters around the world, but not everyone has the chance to go see it freely. A lot of those who don’t have that chance are members of the U.S. Military who are deployed overseas, but that is about to change very soon.

The latest hit from Marvel is breaking box office records left and right, and it has only been in theaters for three nights. Still, people are trying to avoid spoilers at all costs as they don’t have the ability to go and see the movie right away.

For our men and women overseas, they may not get to see Avengers: Endgame for months, and it’s all due to protecting the United States. Well, many of those military members are about to have their chance to see one of the biggest movies ever and they have Twitter to thank for it.

Disney CEO Bob Iger took to Twiter early on Saturday to give a cheap plug and get fans to go see Avengers: Endgame.

On that tweet, Twitter user Military Meowsketeer (@KatAtDisney) had a specific question for Iger.

Interestingly enough, Iger commented back and simply said, “Will Check.”

About five or six hours later, Bob Iger jumped on Twitter again to deliver a message and let the world know that the women and men of the U.S. Military are in for a real treat. Next week, Avengers: Endgame is heading to them.

Have to say that not only is this a fantastic example of how social media can get things done, but this is fantastic for our military members. Huge props on this one as people worked together to get things done and deliver…the endgame.
