Disney fans around the world know of his books and for two hours on Thursday, January 26, 2012 – a number of guests got to meet him. Ridley Pearson, author of the fantastic series of books called Kingdom Keepers was at The Writer’s Shop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios signing books and greeting fans for two hours on Thursday afternoon.
Fans, such as myself, who happened to be waiting around the shop for the signing which began at 3:00pm were lucky when Pearson showed up about an hour early. He was kind enough to take photos with anyone who wished for one and speak to those just hanging around.
Pearson‘s series takes a group of children into the parks of Walt Disney World and pits them against evil forces trying to take over the magic. The original book did so well that he continued on and has now written four successful novels in the series. While Kingdom Keepers does appear to be aimed more at children, let it be known that his work appeals to all ages as mostly adults stood in the long line waiting to meet him.
Kingdom Keepers V: Shell Game is set to hit stores on April 3, 2012.
