Great Goofini’s rollercoaster being test-run and second Dumbo base in place for new Fantasyland

There has been a lot of work going on this week in the Fantasyland Expansion over at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. On Thursday, there appeared to be hundreds of workers over in the Storybook Circus area getting jobs done. Now WDWMagic has recorded video of testing for the Great Goofini Rollercoaster – formerly known as Goofy’s Barnstormer over in Toon Town.

So it seems that they are just running tests because the cars on the train still look exactly the same as they did with the airplane design.

Also to note, the second base platform for Dumbo the Flying Elephant is now in place. It is the original attraction that was picked up and moved piece-by-piece over to its new location. With this happening and work at a fast pace, it appears as if both Dumbos will be in operation for its tentative opening of March 12, 2012.
