Doctor Disney himself will be awake early on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 to enjoy “One More Disney Day” in the Magic Kingdom. The Walt Disney World Resort has listed the entertainment that will be going on around the park as it was expected they would do something for the late-nighters.
Or for those foolish as myself to stay there a full 24 hours.
The Magic Kingdom will indeed be open from 6:00 AM on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 (Leap Day) and close at 6:00 AM on Thursday, March 1, 2012. Full coverage will be given with news, info, and plenty of pics and video here on DoctorDisney.com as well as the DoctorDisney.com Facebook page.
- Wishes – 8:00 PM Wednesday
- Main Street Electrical Parade – 10:00 PM and Midnight
- “The Magic, The Memories and You” – 7:45 PM, 9:00 PM, 11:00 PM, and 5:30 AM
- Disney’s “Dance the Night Away Party” at Cinderella Castle – 1:00 AM until 5:30 AM
- Frontierland Hoedown – 2:45 AM, 3:30 AM, and 4:30 AM
- The Main Street Trolley Show, Move It Shake It, Dream Along with Mickey, and 3 o’clock parade will run as usual. Grab a Times Guide for exact hours.
Floats from the “Move It, Shake It Celebrate It!” Parade will also be placed in locations around the park for different character meet and greets.
- Phineas and Ferb will be in Tomorrowland
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Fantasyland
- Mickey and Minnie in Town Square – They will be dressed in pajamas
