Just a few days ago, new pictures of the construction going on over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa were shown, but this news now is even bigger. Along with the building of the DVC Villas, a number of refurbishments will be going on at the same time which will bring about the temporary closures of shops, restaurants, and even the main pool.
Shops:
- Sandy Cove will be closed beginning on August 21, 2012 and reopen sometime in December 2012
Pool:
- The main pool in the courtyard will be closed beginning on August 24, 2012 and reopen sometime in December 2012. The beach pool will remain open.
Restaurants:
- Beach Pool Bar: Already closed and will reopen August 24, 2012
- Narcoosee’s: July 9 – July 22, 2012
- Mizner’s Lounge: July 9 – July 14, 2012
- Citrico’s: July 23 – August 4, 2012
- Gasparilla Grill Quick Service: August 24, 2012 – December 2012
