The Disney Parks Blog continues to whet the appetites of all those looking forward to the New Fantasyland opening at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, which is set for December 6, 2012. Today, there is a new “All in the Details” video showing how Walt Disney Imagineers add character to Belle’s Village.
It’s great to hear Imagineers Teb Robledo and Chris Kelly discuss just how the designs are going to work, especially on the statues of Gaston and Lefou.
The Gaston fountain actually sits in the center of Belle’s Village with Gaston’s Tavern sitting behind it. Directly across from the fountain will be Bonjour! Village Gifts.
The grand opening is set for December 6, 2012 with previews set for November 19, 2012. While many assume that the previews will be the Annual Passholder previews announced a couple weeks ago, that may have changed.
Disney Parks Blog now words it as “general previews” beginning on November 19, 2012.
