Each Walt Disney World park has their icon which stands out above all other things in the park. Magic Kingdom has Cinderella Castle. Epcot has Spaceship Earth. Disney’s Animal Kingdom has the Tree of Life. And Disney’s Hollywood Studios has…well, it’s had a few different icons over the years, but it may have changed again.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been signified by the Great Movie Ride and the Earful Tower at different points in time. For years now though, it has been represented by the giant Sorcerer Mickey hat, but rumors have persisted that it would soon be coming down or at least moving. No proof has come from Disney, but an interesting picture has been put up this month on the official Disney World Passholders Facebook page.
The cover photo shows the three icons listed above, but then shows The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror as the icon for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Could a change be on the way?
