Word has gotten out that there will be some big time changes coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it looks as if they will be happening as early as April 2013. According to reports from Cast Members, both the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! parade and the Disney Channel Rocks! street performance will be having their last performances on April 6, 2013.
Cast Members have been advised that Disney Channel Rocks! has simply run its course, and the reviews and guests’ reactions to it just aren’t good. All performances of this street show have been removed from Disney calendars after April 6.
Pixar Pals also seems to have been there long enough, and they feel it is time for something new. Unlike the previous though, it still remains on Disney calendars.
There has been no official word from Disney on the removal of either attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but Cast Members have been made aware of the changes.
