Remember the rumor from a couple weeks ago that the Osborne Lights at DHS could be coming to an end soon? Well, reports are popping up to further push that rumor, and they now include Epcot.
Word is that Epcot could get a new Christmas lights display in 2014, which just so happens to be the first year that rumors say the Osborne Lights won’t be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Whether or not Epcot’s new light display is actually the Osborne Lights moving over remains to be seen, but it could work out.
Essentially, according to the rumors, the Osborne Lights would move on over to Epcot and do one of two things:
- Cover parts of Future World
- Cover the countries in World Showcase
To me, the latter seems more feasible and the better option. It would make it easier for guests to walk around and see them all, and even see everything in one vision by standing anywhere around World Showcase Lagoon.
Again, this is just another rumor for now…but there are more and more coming out lately so it at least draws some attention.
