There is a lot to know about Walt Disney World and all that it incorporates. Heck, I’m in the Disney Parks five to seven days a week and don’t even know half of what there is to know about them and the company as a whole. Still, what I do know is what I’m going to always share with all of you…and that includes knowledge of Characterpalooza.
Believe it or not, this takes place out for all guests to see and it’s really one of the best places and opportunities to get pictures of characters you may not normally see.
The thing is, you could very well see and meet between 10 and 20 characters at one single Characterpalooza.
What is it?
A meet-and-greet that takes place with numerous characters and allows for pictures, autographs, and just seeing some of your favorites. It usually lasts for about an hour.
Where:
When – This schedule is good through at least the end of Sept. 2013:
- 5:30 p.m. – On a night with two showings of Fantasmic!
- 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. – On a night with one showing of Fantasmic!
- Character Palooza always starts 4.5 hours before the last Fantasmic! is scheduled to begin so these times could change. Remember this tidbit and always check with Cast Members on your day at the parks.
- NOTE: There will be no Characterpalooza from Nov. 3, 2013, through March 8, 2014.
- It could be cancelled due to inclement weather

Is this something that happens every night there is a Fantasmic! Aside from the dates you listed?
As of now, it does happen on evenings there is a showing of Fantasmic! Again, it won’t happen from Nov. through March, but it does happen regularly on nights there are Fantasmic! showings.
I don’t see locations for the Charactor Palooza on nights with just one showing of Fantasmic!
