The brand new Starbucks location at Epcot is set to have its official grand opening on the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, but some guests are getting an early look. There is a soft opening happening today, Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, and it will thrill some and upset others.
The Epcot Starbucks takes over the old location known as Fountain View which once served both baked goods and then more recently, ice cream.
WDWMagic had images from the opening of the Fountain View Starbucks and showed that the location was split into two sides, much like the Main Street Bakery Starbucks over at the Magic Kingdom.
Now, for those wondering, there are no ice cream items available on the menu that used to be in the old Fountain View. The majority of the menu consists of Starbucks items with a few Disney bakery items mixed in.
Don’t go in there expecting sundaes and waffle cones because they aren’t available.
