Winnie the Pooh and his friends – mostly Tigger – will be moving around in Epcot for a little while as their current location undergoes a refurbishment.
Beginning this past weekend, the Winnie the Pooh meet-and-greet location in the back of the United Kingdom Pavilion is closed for refurbishment. Pooh and Tigger will still be around, but in a different spot.
Guests can now visit with them just inside the turnstiles of the International Gateway for a few weeks. They will be appearing there daily from 1:00 p.m. until 8:15 p.m.
It is expected that their permanent location in the United Kingdom pavilion will be closed for at least four weeks or so. That meet-and-greet location is set to reopen sometime in early Oct., 2013.
