With all of the construction going on over at Downtown Disney and Disney West Side due to the changeover to Disney Springs; there are a number of parking issues happening. With that, there are not only changes coming to the parking at Downtown Disney but valet parking coming to Disney West Side.
This weekend on Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, there will be modified traffic patterns at Downtown Disney.
- Entrance 1 will be closed to incoming traffic but open for outgoing traffic.
- Entrance 2 – near T-Rex – will be open to right-turn traffic, but the left turn lane will open and close on demand.
- Entrance 1 will also have a lane dedicated to Disney buses.
Parking for Downtown Disney will be very hard to come by, and the best bet will be to park down by Disney West Side. Speaking of that, beginning on Oct. 21, 2013, there will be valet service running through the holiday season.
The valet service will begin at 4:00 p.m. and run through 2:00 a.m. at a cost of $15 per vehicle. That does not include tips for the valets.
Vehicle drop-off/pick-up will be in front of Cirque du Soleil. Guests will be able to let the valet stand know they are coming back for their vehicle via phone call, in-person, or by text message.
Those that are Tables In Wonderland members will receive complimentary valet service with a valid restaurant receipt.
