We’ve all been waiting for it and the official opening date of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is going to open on May 28, 2014 in New Fantasyland.
A dedication was held on the morning of Friday, May 2, 2014, and amid much speculation, the date ended up being around when Imagineers have been saying it would end up coming to guests.
There is still no word on when FASTPass+ reservations will become available for the brand new attraction to complete New Fantasyland, but you can be sure that they are going to be going very fast once they’re released. The option is there, but it still just says “Standby Available.”
UPDATE as of 7:55 a.m.: FASTPass+ is now available!
Do you know if there will be any special event on May 28 for the opening of the Mine Train. I am considering extending my vacation and wondering if it will be worth it
I doubt anything special will happen since the dedication has already been done.
