There is a lot of stuff coming up for the fantastic summer at Walt Disney World, and it all is kicking off with the 24-hour Rock Your Disney Side event on May 23, 2014. Now, some details are starting to spill out, and there is a lot of good (and bad) to be happy about.
What we already know about Rock Your Disney Side is that the Magic Kingdom will open up on Friday, May 23, 2014, at 6:00 a.m. and stay open until 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2014.
Now, here are some new details coming out, and they are awesome:
~ A number of Disney Villains will be out for character meet-and-greets including Cruella De Vil and Maleficent. There will also be some very rare characters out and about including the Big Bad Wolf, Bowler Hat Guy from “Meet the Robinsons,” and Stromboli from “Pinocchio.”
~ Those Disney Villains will be placed around the Magic Kingdom randomly for Rock Your Disney Side, but they will also take part in the “It’s Good to Be Bad” cavalcade that will precede the Main Street Electrical Parade.
~ Guests that stay late for Rock Your Disney Side will be able to join in for dancing in Frontierland and also around Cinderella Castle.
~ Over in Tomorrowland, the #IncrediblesSuperDanceParty will take place and then there will be special showings of “The Incredibles.”
Having been to the past two 24-hour events, they are a lot of fun and this one will truly be something not to miss.
Rock Your Disney Side is going to be incredible, and some of the other parks will be extending late-night fun to help the crowds. While they may not have any type of “special” events, they will still give you extra time to enjoy the attractions.
