Full Review of ‘Feel the Force’ Premium Package for Star Wars Weekends

Star Wars Feel the ForceThe second weekend of Star Wars Weekends 2014 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is over, and it was yet another great success. Making matters even better is that Doctor Disney got to enjoy the brand new “Feel the Force” Premium Package that just debuted this year, and here is a full review of it. Let me tell you this, it is well worth the money.

The “Feel the Force” Premium Package is quite phenomenal and easily worth the $54 per adult and $32 per child (tax and gratuity included).

Check-in for the package happened at 10:30 a.m. at Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner and you were then let into the reserved viewing area for the Star Wars Weekends Motorcade Parade. The reserved area is near the big hat and Star Wars Weekends stage, and it is located stage right.

This is also the area that “Feel the Force” attendees go to in the evening for the dessert party and reserved viewing area for Symphony in the Stars fireworks. In inclement weather, the dessert party is moved indoors to the Disney Junior building.

Guests will then have the option of staying indoors if it is still raining and enjoying more snacks and music or heading to the reserved area to watch the fireworks.

The viewing location  is fantastic for the parade and fireworks. Some may say that it is too close to the stage to get a good viewing of the fireworks…but I disagree.  You can check out the video of my view for Symphony in the Stars and the Star Wars Weekends Motorcade and see it was great.

During the day for the motorcade, Cast Members hand out drinks and ice cream to those in the “Feel the Force” location.

A good Disney source of mine said that they are doing some “tweaks” to the “Feel the Force” Premium Package as this is the first year it has existed so it is new to everyone. So far though, I think it is fantastic and well worth the money. If it is brought back next year, grab it quickly because it will sell out fast!
