Have you heard of Disney’s “Descendants” yet? If not, then you will soon and here is your first look at the cast that will be playing the roles of the children of your favorite Disney Villains. Disney’s “Descendants” will be coming to the Disney Channel in 2015.
It’s time to meet four of the main characters that will be featured in the “Descendants,” and they are an interesting look at what the future may hold.
In the upper left-hand corner of the image is Jay who is played by Booboo Stewart. Jay is the son of Jafar, who will be played by Maz Jobrani.
Next to him on the right is Carlos, played by Cameron Boyce. He is the son of Cruella de Vil, played by Wendy Raquel Robinson.
Now for the girls of Disney’s “Descendants.”
On the bottom left-hand side of the image is Mal, played by Dove Cameron. She is the daughter of Maleficent, who will be played by none other than Kristen Chenoweth.
Next to her is Evie, who is played by Sofia Carson. She happens to be the daughter of the Evil Queen, who will be played by Kathy Najimy.
A description of the “Descendants” per Disney:
Disney’s iconic characters are living out their happy endings in Auradon, a present day idyllic kingdom. All defeated villains have been exiled to the Isle of the Lost, a remote island where they must spend their remaining days isolated from Auradon’s modern-day luxuries. Time passes, and the teenage son of King Beast and Queen Belle is poised to take the throne. His first proclamation: offer a chance at redemption to the trouble-making descendants of the villains stuck on the Isle of the Lost. The teenaged kids of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar and Cruella de Vil are allowed into the kingdom to attend prep school alongside the teenage progeny of iconic Disney heroes. The villainous parents see this as an opportunity to use their children to carry out an evil plan that will finally free them all from the Isle of the Lost. Will these evil teens follow in the footsteps of their wicked parents?
