Watch the ‘DuckTales’ Opening With Real Ducks and Disney’s New ’90s Website

For some reason, Disney has decided to go retro again, but they’ve just gone back to the ’90s. That’s not a bad thing at all though as Disney put together a website that looks very ’90s and includes flashy graphics, spinning graphics, a Mickey hand mouse pointer, and even a web counter. But better yet…is the intro to “DuckTales” with real ducks.

DuckTales intro real ducks

Yes, you read that correctly.

The intro to one of the greatest cartoon series of all times – “DuckTales” – has been recreated with real ducks and it’s quite possibly one of the best things you’ll see this entire year.

As you can see in the live “DuckTales” intro, everyone is represented including Scrooge McDuck, the triplets, Magica De Spell, and Launchpad. I love the one duck that is totally unaffected by the gold coins falling all around him and the mummy is phenomenal.

After you’ve watched that awesome “DuckTales” intro a few hundred times, head over to the Disney Throwback website. It’s quite amazing and looks very much like a few websites that I built back in the ’90s as well.

There’s activities such as “You Know You’re A Disney Kid When…” and “Make a Cootie Catcher.”

Watch trailers to your favorite movies like the brand new “Toy Story” or theme songs to great shows like “Darkwing Duck”  and “Talespin.” Seriously, have fun with this.

Oh, and if you were wondering how close the live-action version of the “DuckTales” theme is to the original, compare by watching it below. WOO-OOOOO!
